Are you promoting British values in schools to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain?

For some years now schools have been formally required to promote British values, but what are they exactly?

Well, the government stated that children in England should be taught fundamental British values. They described these as ‘democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs’.

If you are looking for help and a starting point in your classroom, our set of four A2 Posters will make a great display and they are full of information to help you on your way to teaching and promoting about the four fundamental British values:

  • Democracy
  • The Rule of Law
  • Individual Liberty
  • Mutual Respect and Tolerance
